Small-lot duplex excavation project |

Backfilling this duplex was a challenging process due to the narrow space between the structure and the fence at the property line! Fortunately, we have access to the right equipment to get the job done, in this case a Mustang 2026 skid steer. A stand-behind skid steer was also used to move the fill dirt we staged within the stem walls. We brought in 3/4″ road mix to fill the garage up to grade and compacted it several times.
We then proceeded to grade the sides and the back as close to final grade as possible in preparation for decorative gravel, pavers, and sod landscaping. Proper fall for water runoff was maintained in all locations.
